Full Professor at the School of Humanities and Sciences of the São Paulo State University (Unesp) - Campus Araraquara and at the San Tiago Dantas Graduate Programme in International Relations (Unesp, Unicampo, PUC-SP). She coordinates the Interdisciplinary Study Group on Culture and Development (GEICD) and the Jean Monnet Module -Unesp. She is an associate researcher at the Observatory of Regionalism (ODR), the EU Research and Education Network on Europe in the World (Jean Monnet network coordinated by the Catholic University of Leuven-Belgium), the Development, International Politics and Peace (DIPP) network funded by the Capes Print project at Unesp, the National Institute of Science and Technology for Studies on the United States (INCT-INEU) and the Centre for the Study of Contemporary Culture (CEDEC). She holds a BA in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1992), an MA in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (1996) and a PhD in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2001). She has been a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow since 2013. In 2024, she was a visiting researcher at the Fudan Development Institute (Think Thank), Fudan University, Shanghai (China). She has experience in political science, with a focus on regional integration, working mainly on the following topics: regionalism, paradiplomacy, Mercosur, the European Union, Latin America, China, the United States, the SDGs, regional parliaments, parliamentary diplomacy and international governance.
